Description
HPP Passarel is one of the basic power generating unit of the Iskar Cascade. The plant is equipped three Francis type Turbines, two Generators with power capacity 14 MW each, 10,5 kV and one generator with power capacity 2,6 MW
HPP Kokalyane is one of the basic power generating units of the Iskar Cascade. The plant is equipped with two Francis type Turbines and two Generators with power capacity 11,2 MW each
HPP Germanea is run-of-river Power generating Hydro Plant. Water intake is located on Germanea River. The plant is equipped with one Pelton type Turbine one Generator with power capacity 3,3 MVA
HPP Yahinovo is located on the penstock 2 supplying water to the Dyakovo dam. The plant is equipped with one Francis type Turbine one Generator with power capacity 7,66 MVA

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Technical due diligence report covering the following key topics:
Ability of the project to generate the expected power and energy
Assessment of the power generating equipment
Status of various licenses and permits and conditions associated to their granting
Assessment of technical requirements contained in permits and approvals (environmental, water usage, grid connection…)
Review of natural resources conditions (hydrology study and potential) and calculation of long-term series (flow duration curves) and uncertainties (P50, P75, P90)
Preparation of Hydrology study report of the 4 HPPs: Passarel, Kokalyane, Yahinovo and Germanea
Review of the contractual framework (all major contracts – Operation and Maintenance, Power Purchase Agreement, electricity trading agreement, etc.). Review of all guarantees of the equipment, comparison to the market benchmarks
Review of the financial model and opinion on the major assumptions
Inspection of the HSE rules
